Sonique,
like Winamp, is a great mp3 player. It's not better than
Winamp in my opinion, but its worth downloading. It also
features skins and plugins.
Real
Player is not necessarily anything great, but you'll need
it to play real content (i.e. *.ra, *.ram, etc. files),
which are very prevalent on the net.
AOL
IM is an instant messaging program that's cool. It has
a ton of features including a news ticker and stock
quote ticker.
Windows
Media Player 7 is Microsoft's answer to Real Player. It's
still in beta but its still a fairly good download. It
has great skins and a wonderful equalizer
